Daftar Isi:
- Mild chronic hepatitis non-progressive or slowly form, severe chronic hepatitis form is progressive ongoing cause cirrhosis. Cirrhosis as a result of the final stage of liver parenchymal fibrosis that results in the form of nodules and alter liver function. APRI scores can predict significant fibrosis and cirrhosis in naive patients with very high accuracy level. Serum HA levels increases with the progression of fibrosis and is associated with the degree of fibrosis and inflammation in hepatitis patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the value of APRI with hyaluronic acid levels in patients with chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis . The study design was cross-sectional. Sampling was done by consecutive sampling. The subjects of this study were chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis patients at the Polyclinic Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine Section treated in hospital Dr. Sardjito who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The correlation between the value of APRI with hyaluronic acid levels were statistically assessed with correlation tests. The final result is expressed in a correlation coefficient of correlation (r) . Results obtained 44 patients, consisting of 30 patients with cirrhosis and 14 chronic hepatitis, with a mean value of APRI 0.78 ± 0.64 on chronic hepatitis and 1:44 ± 0.85 in liver cirrhosis as well as the mean HA 176.57 ± 9.88 ng / mL in chronic hepatitis and 19:47 ± 254.70 ng / mL in liver cirrhosis. All samples were classified into severe fibrosis to cirrhosis. There was no significant correlation between the scores APRI and HA levels in chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis. There is a significant correlation between the levels of HA APRI scores in the group of severe fibrosis to cirrhosis , with a correlation coefficient (r) 0.400 (p = 0.007). This results in a correlation equation HA = 238 115 + 21 947 (APRI score) - 0.774 (ALT) .
