- Background : Yogyakarta is one of the province which had been declared as DHF endemic area. There are some factors causing DHF cases more increase, one of the factor is DHF vector populations related to physical condition of the house. Objective : Understanding the influences of physical condition of the floor, the window, the ventilation, the roof, and also the door. Aedes sp Methods : This study is an analytical observational with cross sectional-retrospective study design. This research had been done in Pringgokusuman and Bausasran, in D.I.Y. with 61 and 57 samples total in each area. The variables observed is physical condition of the house, included floor, the window, the ventilation, the roof, and also the door. The examination of population density had been done inside of the house using Backpack Aspirator. Collection of the mosquito had been done in all parts of the house, spesifically for the mosquitos� hiding place. wall (p=0,259), roof (p Results and Discussion : There was a significant relation between physical condition of the window to the DHF vector population density in Pringgokusuman (p=0,010) and Bausasran (p=0,036). Comparative test result of physical condition of the floor (p=0,594), =0,901), and the door (p=0,233) in Pringgokusuman, also physicsl condition of the floor (p=0,354), wall (p=0,890), roof (p=0,582), and door (p=0,164) in Bausasran were not related to the DHF vector population density.
