- Implementation of knowledge management (KM) within an organization requires significant organizational changes. Assessment of the readiness of the organization to guide the organization to plan and implement KM initiative. Application of KM needs good preparation so that the application does not run into problems or failures. Mature early preparation is needed in implementing KM by looking at the state of the organization whether it is ready or not. Research to analyze organizational readiness to implement KM (KM Readiness) is the first step that will determine whether the organization will implement KM. This study aims to determine the organization's readiness to implement knowledge management in particular IT Bureau of State Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK RI) so that the organization can consider the implementation of knowledge management initiatives in realizing the mission of the organization. This study used a conceptual model recommended by Jalaldeen, et al. to assess the readiness of the organization by taking into account organizational factors and individual factors. Readiness assessment model used consisted of six variables, namely organizational structure, information technology infrastructure, organizational culture, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and receptive attitude. Testing was conducted using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that employees at the Bureau IT and IT LO has high receptiveness, so from the standpoint of organizational changes, readiness has been reached. However KM infrastructure that includes organizational structures, information technology infrastructure and organizational culture does not significantly influence the receptive attitude of employees, as well as information technology infrastructure has no significant effect on performance expectancy.
