  • Construction of the Central Library Building The South UGM has been designed to be one energy efficient building at UGM. The building is designed to use a lot of a glass to maximize natural lighting but on the other hand can also make the room temperature increased. The audit of the electrical energy was conducted to determine the level of indoor comfort and energy usage profiles in the Central Library Building The South UGM (L1). The result show that the HVAC system has the largest electrical power load by 76% from the total electrical load, 14% from operational supporting system equipment and 10% from the lighting system. Calculation of Energy Consumption Intensity of The Central Library Building The South UGM (L1) give result 52.068 kWh/m 2 years. Lighting power of the library is 2.93 W/m 2 . The lighting measurement results showed that the reading light located in the corridor area and closed to the window has lighting levels above the maximum recommended standard. Measurements showed that the temperature and relative humidity of the room doesnâ��t use the air conditioner is above the recommended too. The results of the questionnaire also showed that there are still visitors who are not comfortable with the conditions of temperature and lighting levels. Central Library Building South UGM can be regarded as an energy-efficient building but doesnâ��t meet the comfort level of room.
