- The objective of this research was to know the influence of size grading on survival and growth giant freshwater at grow – out phase. This research used an experimental method with completely randomized design consist of three treatments with three replications. Treatments applied was the juvenile not grading (control), grading juvenile small size, and grading juvenile size large. The juvenile with average body weight 0.5 g cultured in 0.22 m 3 fiberglass tank for 8 weeks with stocking density 9 individual/tank and 5 % biomass of feed per day. The result showed size grading of juvenile did not significantly affect the growth length and survival rate but significantly affect the growth weight.
