  • This research analizes poetryâ��s meaning of meaning â��al-h}irs}u luâ��mun wa misluhu at}-t}amaâ��uâ�� written by Abu> al-â��Ata>hiyyah whom the one of famous poet in â��Abbasiyyah. To find out the kind meaning of meaning in this poetry, this research uses theory semiotik whom revealed by Michael Riffaterreâ��s. Semiotic is a research model which takes note of the symbols. These symbols was found from the language which used in the literatureâ��s work. This research shows that poetry â��al-h}irs}u luâ��mun wa misluhu at}-t}amaâ��uâ�� content advise to every man to have waraâ�� (devout), qanaâ��ah (satisfied) and patient characteristic in their life. The man who have those characteristic will show sign of glory in the side of Allah swt. and another. It is because those characteristic based on obedient, pious, and not profuse nature in their life. But many people does not try or even to reach those characteristic because they do not want listen sound of truth although they know the truth one. Beside those characteristic can not be unite with evil behavior such as greedy and cupidity. In this case not mean people who have waraâ��, qanaâ��ah and patient characteristic never have evil behavior one, but both of those characteristic may not always be in man with every condition. Just man who have devote behave that can always keep this character before Allah and hope for Allahâ��s willing. Eventhough that is very difficult thing, people must try to keep that characteristic in their life.
