- The result from forest inventory are the main object for the preparation of forest management plans. Perum Perhutani in conducting an inventory of teak forests in Java using the Decree of the Director General of Forestry No. 143/Kpts/DJ/1974 about teak forest inventory rules (Instruction 74). sampling precision expected based on Instructions 74 was 10-15%. This research aims to determine the level of sampling precision in inventory of teak forest by Perum Perhutani with various predefined sampling intensity in Instruction 74. The research was conducted by processing forest inventory data in 2011. Sampling precision calculated by the formula . The results of research showed that sampling accuracy in the Planning Unit Ngliron overall by 2.10%, for age class I-II, III-IV, and V-ups and poor increment were 2.93%, 3.012%, and 3.89%. These result indicate that sampling accuracy from inventory is better than that required in Instruction '74.
