- Background: Nurse is an important pillar of hospital for being one of the spearheads of service to patients. Nurse is required to work professionally, with dedication and demonstrate optimal performance to provide superior hospital services.Optimal performance of the nurse is need support and by various factors, such as the training of nursing care standart (SAK) to many factors, among them the SAK training and conducive organizational communication. This study aim to determine the relationship between SAK training and type of organization communication with nurse performance to take an object in Tarakan General Hospital Jakarta. Objective: The objective of this research is to measure the relations between SAK training and organizational communication amount of nurses performance. Methods: This study was conducted a quantitative approach with a crosssectional survey design. The respondent were 44 nurses selected with census techniques. Data was colected using questionnaire and measure with Likert scale. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and parametric statistics include correlation, coefficient of determination, t test, F test and regression. Results: The results showed that the SAK Training and organizational communication have a significant positive relationship dan very nurse performance. SAK training and organizational communication has a positive significant relationship with the nurses performance. The conclusion that the nurses performance can be improved by improving SAK training and organizational communications. Conclusions: In Tarakan Hospital SAK training and organizational communication needs to be improved. Improvement SAK training begins with a survey to identify components of the training which is still inadequate. Further, improvement of organizational communication performed by nurses themselves to improve interpersonal communication is need, as well as supports from nurses leader and doctors in a way more accommodating and intense communication with nurses.
