- Indonesian economic history can not be separated from the small industrial sector. This is because the sector is becoming more safety valve for the Indonesian economy, especially in open employment and reduce poverty. Not surprisingly, when the government recently pushed the small industrial sector for the sake of independence massive economic development. This is a fundamental consideration all elements, ranging from employers labor, materials for the product to be dominated by local tastes. As one kind of small industries which are so sturdy prop up the economy during the Indonesian batik industry is. This is seen when many industries are starting shaken by the crisis in 1998, the batik industry can still survive the crisis until ferociously grinding globalization. This condition can be viewed in real Sukorejo Hamlet . Endurance is more formed to be recognized because there is no dependence on foreign capital, in addition to the functioning of social capital ( social capital ) is also a contributing factor that should not be underestimated.
