- a Literature is the art of written and printed work which has beauty and meaning, such aspoem. This research involves poem written by Park Ryeol as the object. This poems is â��ê2 ̈ì� ̧ì��â�� (Gyeoul Sae) .The object of thisresearch is limited into Park Ryeolâ��s poems whichhave â��ê2 ̈ì� ̧â�� (gyeoul) as the element of word in the title. It aims to find out thesignificances of Park Ryeolâ��s poems. So theory is needed to analyze these poems. Thisresearch uses Riffaterreâ��s semiotics theory with some steps such as heuristik reading, hermeneutic reading, pencarian matriks, model, varian dan hipogram searching. ê2 ̈ì� ̧ì��â�� ( Based on the significations process, the poem by Park Ryeol have intact meaningsuch as sadness in the suffering of life. If the significances are connected, those poemshave the same meaning and spirit. â�� Gyeoul Sae) means sadness asconsequences of misery. The phase of misery was experienced by the writer becausehe was alienated by his social life. The sadness and misery are felt by people who cannot survive. Itconcludes that those poems have the same meaning related to the sadness because ofmisery. Nevertheless the third poems written by Park Ryeol have message to life withspirit and hope.
