- Paint is a liquid used to coat the surface of a material with the purpose of beautifying ( decorative ) , strengthening ( reinforcing ) or shield ( protective ) of the material . One of them is the paint , where the paint is to provide protection against the outside of the car (body ) . Car modification has been done many people to his private car . The price is high enough it is possible to try to mixing paint with the best quality with low quality , such as car paint mixing pure iron with paint / wall / timber so that the cheaper the cost of expenses. The problem is there is a lot of mixing going on between good quality paint with low quality . This can cause damage to the car body as a result of the basic ingredients of the paint has been mixed with the paint in addition to car paint . One of the methods offered in this study is \\" smell \\" the scent of paint , but it is not possible to use directly the human nose as smell . The system is composed of an array of gas sensors TGS numbering four , with Arduino analog value from the sensor is converted to a digital value that is displayed on the LCD screen . Later in the insert in the radar chart in Microsoft Excel which will be manually reduced using PCA ( Principal Component Analisys ) . This tool is used to identify the brand Sikken pure car paint with a mixture of paint and car paint wall paint / wood . After all the results are reduced using PCA , then there is the identification value of quality approaching car paint Sikken . Having reduced using PCA , the result of classification quality , ie Quality 1 ( very strong correlation with paint sikken ) : A_T 2:8 , 8:2 A_KB , Quality 2 ( strong correlation with paint sikken ) : A_T 8:2 , Quality 3 ( correlation simply by paint brand sikken ) : A_KB 2:8 , Quality 4 ( very weak correlation premises sikken paint ) : A_T 6:4 , 4:6 A_T , A_KB 6:4 , 4:6 A_KB.
