- Human�s need of land continuously increasing along with the growth of population. Efforts should made to regulate land use. Usage of land beyond its capacity can cause land degradation. This research aims to design a environment management strategy based on the level of critical land both inside and outside the forest areas. Research method conducted in this research is survey in Todanan, Blora regency, Central Java. From the data obtained we performed zoning of critical land based on land capability. And then evaluated to determined land use, land capability and critical areas
