- This research aims to assess livelihood strategies, patterns and phases of activity, economic security, as well as assessing farm household livelihood strategies in the mountain area of Tengger after Bromo Volcano eruption in 2010. This research is using a single methodology applying the research concept developped by Geering (2007). The studied area is Ngadirejo village. This village consist in multiple units of households which have been studied. Retrieval and data collection was performed through direct observation, documentation, questionnaires, and document research. Respondents in this research are farmer households in the hamlet of Kradjan Jenggiri, Kradjan and Pine Three, Ngadirejo Village at Sukapura District. The data analysis consist in several steps conducted simultaneously with data collection. The concept of triangulation data is applied, that is to say: data reduction
