- This study aim to evaluate the impact of saving and loan credit for women (SPP) of National Program for Community Empowerment in Rural Areas (PNPM MP) to the increase in household income, the increase in business turnover, and poverty reduction. This research is a descriptif study using impact evaluation approach that utilizes propensity score matching (PSM) by identifying the action group and the comparison before and after matching . The study was conducted in Prambanan Subdistrict and Sleman District. The target of the research are women from poor households. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentaions. Logistic regression analysis was used as data analysis techniques. UNESCAP�s indicators were employed to calculate indicators of success of the program. The results showed that activities of saving and loan credit for women of PNPM MP have positive impacts on increasing income of poor households, a increase in business turnover, and poverty reduction.
