- The dengue infection (DENV) is becoming one of the major health problems in the world and also one of the dangerous infections especially in tropical country like Indonesia. Dengue infection can be caused by 4 serotype of dengue virus (DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3 and DENV-4). Dengue virus serotype 3 is the most predominant serotype with have more virulent characteristics that associated with the disease severity. There is no available dengue vaccine and antiviral drugs for prevention and treatment of dengue virus infection. Considering the above, drug discovery research for dengue is of utmost importance
