  • An environmental assessment has been carried out on air dispersion modeling as a prediction technique for the spread of pollutants into environmental air condition in Cilacap District coming from Coal Fired Steam Power Plant stack, PT. Sumber Segara Primadaya â Cilacap. Forecast affected area of coal production has been done by mapping the dispersion of pollutants came from coal production i.e. SO2, NOx, and dust. The mapping has been done by using WRPLOT View software to determine the speed and wind direction. The input data have been reached from BMKG meteorological data in the study area. Pollutants distribution modeling of coal production against to air environment has been conducted through an assessment of modeling result maximum concentration requirements compared with ambient air quality standards. Gaussian dispersion model calculation was used to determine SO2, NOx and dust concentration of power plant for a year. The results were displayed in the form of three-dimensional graphs to determine the distribution pattern of pollutants. The pattern of air pollution showed concentration of each parameter value that varies according to the the wind direction. The distribution of pollutants in the dry season could reach up into 15 km while in the rainy season would only reach 14 km. The maximum dust concentration was 161.26 Î1⁄4g/m3 at wind speed of 4 m/s, 176.60 Î1⁄4g/m3 at wind speeds of 3.5 m/s, 215.98 Î1⁄4g/m3 at wind speeds of 2.5 m/s, and 24.14 Î1⁄4g/m3 at wind speed of 2 m/s. The maximum SO2 concentration was 982.44 Î1⁄4g/m3 at wind speed of 4 m/s, 1073.65 Î1⁄4g/m3 at wind speeds of 3.5 m/s, 1310.15 Î1⁄4g/m3 at wind speeds of 2.5 m/s, and 1462.03 Î1⁄4g/m3 at wind speed of 2 m/s. The maximum NOx concentration was 586.15 Î1⁄4g/m3 at wind speed of 4 m/s, 640.57 Î1⁄4g/m3 at wind speeds of 3,5 m/s, 781.67 Î1⁄4g/m3 at wind speeds of 2.5 m/s and 872.28 Î1⁄4g/m3 at wind speed of 2 m/s.
