- The quality of street space in a region influenced by the region's main function. The most frequently occurring problems in urban design is a conflict of interest that should be accommodated, such as social interest, economic growth, transportation smoothness, open space, and architectural design. Livable street can certainly provide comfort and safety for users, and can accommodate any kind of activity that exist along the road corridor. This research try to see the effect of physical setting and activity to livability optimization in a street space, in this case on Jl. KS. Tubun as a commercial area. This study uses field research method with physical setting and activity mapping to see the correlation with the livability in KS. Tubun�s street space. The results of this study showed the less well condition of the physical setting on Jl. KS. Tubun causes the activity is less accommodated so the livability of KS. Tubun region be less than optimal. The results of this research are expected to serve as a guide in restructuring the region to become better in the future.
