- This study aims to predict adolescent empathy based authoritative parenting and sibling relationship quality. Subjects in this study were 186 early adolescents aged 12-15 years, who were attended Junior High School \"X\" Yogyakarta, living with parents, and has a brother and sister. Data were collected by distributing three scales are scales of empathy, authoritative parenting and sibling relationship quality. Sampling used in this study was a random sampling of random ordinal. The Data collected was analyzed with regression analysis two predictors, assisted using the program SPSS version 12 for windows. The result showed that: 1 ) authoritativeness parenting and the quality of siblings relationships could predict empathy adolescent, obtained the value of f = 8,964 with p = 0,000 ( p < 0,05 ) and R = 0,369 with the contribution of effective 13.26 % ( R2 = 0,136 )
