  • Availability of wood as construction material for simple wooden house is decreasing. With the high demand, the manufacturers offer laminated wood such as Glulam or LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber). Sengon LVL usage in built-up beam which applied in wood floor system for two-story wooden house can optimize the benefit value of Sengon LVL. Material used in built-up beam was Sengon LVL. Built-up beams were designed with two types of cross section such as I beam and box beam. Bending test applied on both type of beam with third point loading. Then wood floor system designed by using box beam. Wood floor system designed with distance of each beam was 30 cm and had area 1,2 x 2,4 m2.
