Daftar Isi:
- The objective of this study was intended to determine the effect of the perception of a certified teacher in junior high school in Gunungkidul about educator certification on work motivation. Issues underlying this research is the perception of the teacher certification is still negative, most of the new teacher orientation on certification limited financial problems. It gives the motivation of teachers is low. The method used in this study is a mixed methods sequential explanatory strategy method to the testing of hypotheses through multiple regression analysis models. The results showed that t for X1 (certified teacher perceptions about qualifying participants through the certification of initial competency test) of (0.885) is smaller than t table (1.657), as well as the calculated F value (0.784) <F table (2.250). The significance level of the t test and F test was (0.378)> 0.05. These results indicate that the variable X1 but no significant effect on Y. The t-test results for the variable X2 (certified teacher perceptions of outcomes assessment has not been sufficient minimum graduation rate) of (4.139) is greater than t table (1.657), as well as the calculated F value (17.128)> F table (2.250). Significance level of the t test and F (0,000) also <0.05. This means that the variable X2 positive and significant effect of the variable Y. T-test results of variable X3 (5,643) is greater than t table (1.657), as well as the calculated F value (31.841)> F table (2.250). Significance level of the t test and F (0,000) also <0.05. These results indicate that the variable X3 positive and significant effect of the variable Y. The t-test results for the variable X4 (certified teacher perceptions about the purpose and benefits of educator certification) of 3.210 while the table was 1,657 t, this means that t> t table. F test also produces F count (10.301)> F table (2.250). With a significant level (α) of 0.002 <0.05. These results indicate that the variable X4 positive and significant effect of the variable Y. Based on simultaneous significance test (F test), it can be seen that a certified teacher perception variables on participant qualifications certification test through the competition earlier, perceptions of teacher certification assessments that have not reached the minimum passing grades, teachers' perceptions about the results of the certification assessment reaches a minimum value of graduation, and teachers' perceptions of the purpose and benefits of certification jointly affect work motivation. It can be seen from the calculated F value of (9.660)> F table (2.250). Significance level through test F (0,000) <0.05, the correlation coefficient of 0.487, R2 = 0.238 coefficient determinant. The magnitude of the effect was 23.8%. The influence of teachers' perceptions about the certification of educators certified to work motivation is also corroborated the results of interviews with respondents.
