  • Business environments are dynamic and every change have a significant impact on the industry. Therefore, a company is required to always be adaptable to any environmental changes that occur in order to survive in a climate of intense competition. No exception to the telecommunications industry in Indonesia which is one real example of the radical changes in business environment. In the beginning, the telecommunications industry in Indonesia was controlled by a government company and in its operations, the business environment very much supported the monopoly action of the company. However along with the development of the business world, regulations revoked the monopoly rights so it had an impact on other business environments and on the whole changed the map of the national telecommunications industry. PT.Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk also conducted adaption to changes in business environment by conducting business transformation from Infocomm into the business of Telecommunication, Information, Media, Edutainment. The success of the transformation will be analyzed using the DICE framework that measures hard factors among others (Duration, Integrity, Commitment, Effort) and also analyze strategy whether it is in accordance with changes that occur in the business environment.
