- This research aims to identify the level of relationships/linkages between departments by using Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) Method, as well as recommending the proposed layout of Pasar Modern BSD. Variables in this research were beef shanties, chicken shanties, sheds, eggs shanties, pork shanties, toilet/mosque, slaughtering chickens, vegetable shanties, and tempeh, tofu, and side dishes shanties. The data collection methods in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that there were problems in the layout setting at Pasar Modern BSD. Through the using of Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) Method, the problems of layout setting are used as references to identify the level of relationships/ linkages between departments at Pasar Modern BSD which are denoted by the symbols of \"A\" (Absolutely necessary), \"E\" (Especially important), \"I\" (Important), \"O\" (Ordinary closeness), \"U\" (Unimportant), and \"X\" (Not desirable). The final result of this research is the design of the proposed layout for Pasar Modern BSD, and recommendations for the design of the proposed layout.
