- Selection of good competitive strategies is an important thing for company to be able to continue domination of the market. As performed by PT. Astra Honda Motor as one of the major companies in producing and selling the HONDA brand motorcycles. Market dominance for decades finally get tough challenges from competitors that drastically reduced the level of market control. This research have conducted to corporate strategy by examining several related factors as well as provide recommendations for the selection of the best strategy according to the conditions encountered. The researching took the approach method of Constraint Management to be able to identify the problem and see is there any relation between the problems that occur. Constraint Management is a method based on the Theory of Constraints that aims to control the constraints that are happening in a system. After analysis and formulation, it turns out that product innovation is a crucial issue which make the market share is reduced. The sensitivity of the company to anticipation this problem is also seen as one crucial factor is the problem. Further, recommendation will focused on issues of product innovation as well as what should be done so that recommendations can be run well. Expected with the formulation and recommendations made by the research, could achieve the vision of the company's expectations according to the company's mission.
