- In the face of opportunities and banking competition, one of the strategic thinking that can be applied BRI is a strategic market orientation. That orientation can be measured using the basic principles of the market orientation strategy, information intelligence, information dissemination and responsiveness and supporting components that are organizational structure, process design, information technology, reward systems, leadership, culture and management competency. Data obtained from interviews with BRI employees who have been long working of top management. Interviews were conducted in a formal and informal conditions to obtain detailed information and complementary. In applying the market orientation, BRI has been able to apply the basic principles of market orientation strategy. However, in the supporting components, there are several aspects that need to be improved. The increase of components is necessary to make the market orientation strategy better.
