- Along with the development of the transportation, air transportation is the transportation infrastructure of the most practical and efficient. With the growing number of consumers who use air transport in the region of Yogyakarta, the main facilities and additions facilities of the airport requires more attention . According to data of the total movement of air freight traffic from PT. Angkasa Pura I Adisutjipto Yogyakarta International Airport branch, each year the number of passengers at the Adisutjipto International Airport, both internationally and domestically has increased. This suggests that Adisucipto International Airport terminals will increasingly overcrowded with the continued increase in the number of passengers without additional terminals. Therefore, an evaluation of the performance of the existing passenger terminal at the Adisutjipto International Airport must be done, especially in the check-in area, departure lounge, the arrivals and baggage claim areas which are the key locations of the passenger processing activities . In connection with this, Adisutjipto International Airport management proposed international airport terminal building and facilities with code number of letters supporting the proposal which is AP.I.1479/TK.10.03/2012/GMI-B on Proposed Expansion of Terminal and Optimization of Land.
