- This research was aimed to determined of crossbreeding on the quality of spermatozoa collected from bull cauda epididymis by in vitro method. Crossbreeding as a method has been used for increase livestock productivity by maximilize heterosis�s effect. Six testis from Peranakan Ongole (PO), six testis from Limousin Peranakan Ongole (Limpo) and ten testis from Simmental Peranakan Ongole (Simpo) have been used as the object for this research. Testis were collected and washed using NaCl Fisiologis. In Laboratory, cauda epididymis were separated from testis and then crushed using scalpel blade in cawan petri consist of Phospat Buffer Saline (PBS). After spermatozoa released from cauda epydidimis, motility and live-dead presentation of spermatozaoa was observed. The result show that the quality of spermatozoa give a significantly difference (P<0,05). The motility and live-dead presentation of sperm in Peranakan Ongole has higher than in Limpo and Simpo.
