- Decent work is a central issue when talking about the working relationship between employer and employee. All workers would want a decent working conditions in accordance with the wishes of workers. But in fact in Indonesia, the implementation of decent work for workers is still not as expected most of the workers. Exploitation of workers is still often happens to be one proof that decent work has not been able to be applied to the maximum. Based on the condition of workers, ILO has launched the principles of decent work is tailored to the conditions of workers, particularly with regard to the physical conditions of workers. Disabled people are entitled to be protected as the people have equal opportunity to people in general, which can work in order to maintain its viability. If it worked, other things that should be noted is about acceptable behavior in the workplace. So, as a person who is able to think, workers with disabilities can make sense of decent work in accordance with the conditions and realities that exist in workplace. Given that the meaning of decent work as a major in the research study, the qualitative research method with phenomenological approaches able to delve deeply considered the meaning of decent work. The goal is to find the things hidden inside workers, particularly with regard to the meaning given to that decent work is based on the reality and conditions acceptable during work. With the meaning expected to be a material improvement of the various parties in order to create a climate of decent work in all sectors of employment. Rumah Lidi Handicraft present as one of the answers to solve the unemployment problem disabled people. This business employs disabled people, especially the physically disabled in the Surakarta area. Work at home system a boon for the physically disabled workers regarding access to work sites. This is a strong attraction for the physically disabled to choose to work in this informal sector. If it is associated with the theory of symbolic interactionism, it has similarities in terms of thinking. In this case, any treatment received by employees during work analogous to a symbol in an employment relationship, the interaction between the worker and the employer. If we look at the reality based on primary data obtained during the research, the physically disabled workers make sense of decent work based on the easy of accessibility of the work, the fulfillment of wages, as well as the smooth operation of the production activities, where these three indicators were in fact not cover all indicators are formulated by ILO, as the fulfillment of social protection and social dialogue management.
