- The purpose of this design is to design a spa resort hotel that responds to the physical condition of the selected site, designing a spa resort that can provide good privacy to visitors, designing a spa resort that can provide enjoyable facilities for visitors, and designing a spa resort that can be efficiently utilize the existing environment, both from the element of water in relation to one subject design, spa, the element of air, earth elements, and the element of fire. The selected site is taken from MesaStila existing area, where coffee is a major commodity. The idea is to design a spa resort hotel using ecological architecture design approach by leveraging existing and coffee plantations. Environmental design offered in this design is not only implied in the concept of the visitor accommodation facilities, but also shown directly to the spa resort visitors like rain water harvesting garden, pond and garden area for forage.
