- The knowledge of medical law is an obligation to be understood by dental health professional. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the clinical experience and the knowledge of medical law on dental intern in RSGMP Prof. Soedomo Yogyakarta. Cross sectional method was used in this study. The subject was 130 dental interns with stratified random sampling method. Clinical experience is analyzed by how long the clinical experience had been taken in month. Research�s instrument used in this study was questionaire about medical law covering the informed consent aspects, medical record, and medical confidential. Product moment Pearson correlation analysis was used in this study with level of confidence 95%. The results showed that there is a negative significant relationship between the clinical experience and the knowledge of medical law (r count= - 0,218, α value = 0,013). The conclusion is the longer dental interns experiencing in clinic, their knowledge of medical law is lower.
