- Pemalang have ample forests . The total forest area in the district is an area of 29972.88 hectares Pemalang ( 26 % ) is a state forest and private forest . Seeing the condition of forest management is needed among which forest management with agroforestry . Pemalang district has extensive forest areas so that management of agroforestry in forest area is very good for improving public welfare and maintaining the existing forest conditions . Thereby determining the location of agroforestry development can maintain the relationship Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems can be used as a forest management tool in the determination of the location of agroforestry .
