  • Bandung has incredible attraction in tourism especially on fashion and culinary sector. This phenomenon could be both potential and problem for the city. Image of the city as a tourist destination especially on shopping and culinary tourism has increased tax revenue contribution significantly. On the other hand, this thing could bring adverse effects such as traffic congestion, poor spatial planning and growth of informal sector. Kepatihan Street which is in the central commercial district of Bandung has so many problems related to declining of quality of public space. The main problem in this area is the emergence of the activities of street vendors (PKL). They occupy the sidewalk and also the road. It giving rise to the conflict among users of public space they are pedestrians and motorists. Traffic congestion occurs due to narrowing of the road by street vendors and on-street-parking activities. The inconvenience of pedestrian is also perceived because their space has been occupied by street vendors. The entire things that have been explained above is the main background of Kepatihan Street project. This planning project includes both physical elements and activity element as objects. The physical elements include: circulation and parking
