  • Measurement is the activity of comparing physical quantities of objects and events in the real world ( Wikipedia ). In the Department of Electrical Engineering, subject that learn about the field of measurement and measuring devices is Instrumentation and Measuring, which includes the measurement scale, measuring tools, and precision was. Baby growth should be monitored regularly to determine whether the health of the baby optimal or not. The terms/parameters that usually to monitor the baby's growth is based on growth in length and weight of the baby. In general, the type of measuring tool that used in measuring baby weights still conventional , which is tied with cloth hanging scales. Similarly, the length measurement tool commonly used in posyandu still use the meter body in the readings. Analog device still seems to cause an error in reading the results of measurements of length and weight of the baby. Based on that, designed a Baby Measuring Growth with Data Recorder Based Microcontroller ATMega32, where the tool is used ultrasonic sensor and FSR in readings, the measurement results will be easier to readafter displayed digitally via LCD display 16x4 with accuracy and error rates quite low. As well as the presence of data recorder facility, monitoring the growth of the baby will be more easy.
