  • Hostel concept is a novelty in accomodation and lodging industry in Indonesia, especially in Yogyakarta area. This study aims to describe and identify the business model of a particural hostel business based on Business Model Canvas by Osterwalder, which consists of Customer Segments, Value Propositions, Channels, Customer Relationships, Revenue Streams, Key Resources, Key Activities, Key Partnerships, and Cost Structure. This study focuses on Edu Hostel Yogyakartaâ��s Business Model. The data were obtained through interviews with some respondents. Observation and documentary were also being used as supporting methods and triangulation in this study. Content analysis and constant comparative were used manually to analyze the data. The result of this study is the description of each building blocks of Business Model Canvas. Edu Hostel Yogyakartaâ��s business model pattern has also been identified through this study
