  • Cigugur Resort of Gunung Ciremai National Park (GCNP) has a variety of habitat types. Variety of habitat types are emerging because of GCNP is formation history that effect on wildlife and biodiversity in it. One of them is a bird species that can serve as well bio-indicators of the habitat quality in its. This study aims are to determine the character of habitat, bird species diversity, distribution, similarity, and conservation value of bird on various habitat types in Cigugur Resort of GCNP. The study was conducted on four types of habitat. Those four were Natural Forest, Pine Forest, Shrubs, and Ex-Agricultural Land. The method was the following: 1) Making circular plot and nested sampling to determine the character of habitat, 2) Preparation of plot sampling with Point Count 's with systematic sampling to measure the diversity value index of birds and determine the distribution of bird species, 3) Analysis of Bray-Curtis for the similarity of birds, 4) Calculation of Conservation Value Index (CVI) for the calculation of the value of conservation. Based on the research results, the composition of the bird species of the Cigugur Resort consists of 88 species from 32 families with 1,496 individual birds with high biodiversity value of 3.59. Diversity value of bird species in each habitat type as a whole including the medium category. Distribution patterns of bird species in the entire Cigugur Resort generally clumped. Habitats that had the highest value of the similarity were between the Natural Forest and the Pine Forest was equal to 51.6605%. While habitats that has the smallest value of the similarity were between Natural Forest and Shrubs at 1.5544%. Conservation value of each habitat type Natural Forest, Pine Forest, Ex-Agricultural Land, and Shrubs, respectively for 3.873
