- This research was aimed to reveal the intrinsic elements on the story and the linkages of it�s elements to deliver the meaning. Theory used in this study is the structural theory. The structural analysis method conducted throught descriptive analysis method implemented in this study. Based on the result of the analysis that has been done, it can be seen that the character in this story is divided into two, main characters and extras. The main character is the shepherd, and the extras are princess, three dogs, king, the shepherd�s sister, the shepherd�s father, the coachman, and the beast. This story uses progressive plot, so easy to be understood by children. It�s setting located in a country led by a king. Moral and themes to be conveyed by the author is that the kindness will be rewarded with another kindness. This story uses the third-person perspective, �omniscient�. Style of the language in this story is so simple with parodial tone. The elements that build this children�s story are related to each other.
