This research is aim to examine a kinds of speech act in drama script Qaá ̧�iyyatu Ahli ar-Rabâ��i. This Qaá ̧�iyyatu Ahli ar-Rabâ��iâ��s statements has analyzed from speech act aspect based on types of speech act and its sentence modus, with using Searleâ��s and Wijanaâ��s theory. On the analysis phase, is used equal-pragmatic method, which is the method that used speech partner as determinant. ocutionary act, ilocutionary act, and perlocutionary act. Whereas based on sentence modus, the statement on the drama script used three types of speech act, such as direct speech act, literal speech act, nonliteral speech act. The most regular of speech act in this drama script is locutionary act, because it has function for conveying the whole of the story line.
