- Electrification ratio in Indonesia is projected to increase and reaches 94.4% in the whole of Indonesia in 2020. But, unfortunately, the electrification ratio projection�s compliance is still dominated by fossil energy sources, such as petroleum and coal.On the other hand, reports from the International Energy Agency (IEA) show that in 2007 CO2 emissions coal contribution reached 42%, although its role in the world's primary energy supply is only 26%,while petroleum energy supply is 34% with 38% CO2 emissions and natural gas energy supply and CO2 emissions each worth 21% and 20%. There are still opportunities for fossil energy power to compensate the CO2 produced by generating additional energy supply with near-zero carbon emmision. Tanjung Jati B Coal Power Plant (TJB PP) in Jepara, Jawa Tengah, for example, some parts of the TJB PP�s region has the potency to mounted solar-powered power plant or Photovoltaics Power Plant (PV PP). PV PP system designperformedinlocationsthat have the potency, by varyingthe fourbrands ofsolarmodulesthat aremanufacturedin Asiafortwotypes ofsolar powersystems, stand aloneandgrid connected. So, there are 12 combinations of PV PP systems, 8 combinations of stand-alone systems and 4 combinations of grid-connected systems. Each combination will be varied in their respective supporting components (battery, charge controller, and inverter), thenof energy products and its economic will be analyzed, so the life cycle cost and cost of energy could be determined. Recommended PV PP systems to be built are the systems with module brands LG250S1C-G2 and STP245-20/Wd.
