Daftar Isi:
- Human activities affect the development of today's technology. Engined vehicles are adequate transportation facilities. Incomplete combustion processes led to air pollution. The presence of carbon monoxide around 90% in urban areas. A large number of the vehicle causing the vehicle queue. Traffic jams are the peak hours of community activity. This study aims to, 1) Identification of motor vehicle air pollution from Quickbird Imagery, 2) Presenting a map of potential ambient carbon monoxide pollution from motor vehicles. This study uses the integration of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems. Source of data used Quickbird image of 2006. Road geometry information, land use and traffic light plot derived from QuickBird image. Malioboro area of research is about using six segments road. Determination of carbon monoxide ambient pollution based on the vehicle queue. Volume is based on the peak hour roads community activities. Roads with low air pollution levels showed little and orderly queue of vehicles. Descriptive analyzes were undertaken to analyze the level of pollution and the long queue of vehicles. Spatial aspect is applied to obtain the data in detail based on the parameters. This research resulted in wideroad mapping accuracy of 97.54%. The resulting interpretation of test accuracy of 92.46%. Measurement of ambient levels of carbon monoxide on every street is still the standard. The highest levels were 19 ppm in Quarter Hotel Limaran. The lowest levels were in the Flower Market Road 6 ppm levels. The highest levels were in line with the long queue M.Suryotomo Street 68.4 m. Shortest queue of vehicles was in Pasar Kembang Street is 5 m.
