- This research attempts to (1) identify occurrences of code mixing by the host of Just Alvin (Alvin Adam) in three episodes, (2) analyze the forms and types of code mixing used by Alvin Adam and (3) analyze and explain the causes of code mixing made by Alvin Adam. The data used in this research are taken from three episodes of Just Alvin with three different guests. The three episodes are taken from video streaming site YouTube.com. The result of this research shows that (1) the host of Just Alvin uses various different codes towards three different guests when he interviews them, (2) codes mixings occur in form of root word, derivative word such as affixation word and reduplication word and phrase. While the types of code mixing are inner code mixing that is code mixing in Informal Bahasa Indonesia and Jakarta dialect, and the outer code mixing in Sundanese, English and Arabic, (3) the causes of code mixings are as follow
