- This study aims to (1) determine the performance Recommended Energy Intake (REI) and the Desirable Dietary Pattern (DDP) before and after decentralization at regencies or city in the Yogyakarta region, (2) determine the performance of REI and DDP before and after decentralization in DIY . The method used is descriptive method using secondary data of food consumption expenditure DIY and regency/city below, from the year 1997 to 2011. Based on the research found that the achievement of RDI are reaching the target of 2,000 kcal and there is an increase in performance of Recommended Energy Intake (REI) after the implementation of decentralization in all districts/city and at the level of DIY. There was also an increase in Desirable Dietary Pattern (DDP) after the implementation of decentralization in DIY, Kulonprogo, Bantul and Gunungkidul. While in Sleman and Yogyakarta has decreased. Target of Desirable Dietary Pattern (DDP) 100 will not be achieved on year of 2020 because based on current trends will only reach DDP score of 72-81 points. Based on the food group, achievement of DDP in DIY and regency/city below shows the food groups tubers, oily seeds and vegetables and fruits have the lowest number and needs to be increased.
