- Poverty is still an important issue in Indonesia, various programs were emerged to reduce it. Qardhul hasan was one of the programs that could be used. Baitul Maal (BM) Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT) Beringharjo Yogyakarta has done empowerment to poor Muslim communities b y qardhul hasan program which called Sahabat Ikhtiar Mandiri (SIM) to utilize funds from Zakat, Infaq , Sedekah and Wakaf (ZISWA) . This research aimed to analyze the variables that influenced the success of the program allegedly SIM in increasing customers income and analyzing differences in income and charity customers SIM before and after participating the program.
