- Human beings basically have a great potential of goodness and genetically need God almighty. Even, they have innately and naturally a will to search their God. Therefore, having many kinds of life experiences as background and when the heart of five subjects in the study were absoulutely touched by enlightment or hidayah trough the action of dakwah and tabligh then continued by a series of gradual learning, the changes of them were dramatically achieved so that they totally converted their life. Even, their new life were in the contrary of their past life. It was one of the form of religious transformation happen to the subjects who are active in the practice of dakwah and tabligh at this study. The objective of this qualitative study is to explore experiences and psychological dynamic of university students� religious transformation of university students who are active in the practice of dakwah and tabligh. According to Subandi (2009) religious transformation is the religious orientation alteration from religiousity style of common people to be people who are more pious and confident in religiousity. Religious transformation comprises wider religious experiences, from transformation of consciousness to transformation of the sense of self. Exploring subject experiences, the study uses phenomenological method on 5 university students from 4 university in Yogyakarta. The findings is that subjects experienced religious transformation through a program series of the practice of dakwah and tabligh so that they experienced dramatic changes and were more well-behaved. The changes can enhance interaction relationship with communities sorrounding them including families, peers, and neighbors, and also enhance their motivation and achievement of their study.
