  • for Environmental problems an industry is the consumption of resources and energy, and the production of waste and emissions. Enlargement production of shrimp is an industry that requires energy to maintain the amount of dissolved oxygen in the pond that should be sufficient for the shrimp. This industry also need water and feed ingredients for the shrimp. This research aims to analyze the consumption of resources and energy, analyze the production of waste and emissions, find out the potential environmental impacts, and find out the improvement to reduce the use of materials and energy and the production of waste and emissions. among Life Cycle Assessment is an evaluation method input, output, and the potential environmental impacts of a product life cycle system. Life Cycle Assessment is used to determine how much of the environmental impact of the life cycle stages of a product. The result of this research shows that amount of energy from human, electricity, gasoline, and diesel that is required to produce shrimp in PT Indokor Bangun Desa is 20.42
