- First Baluran National Park zoning appointment is on 1987 undergo Director General of Forest Protection and Nature Preservation decree number 51/Kpts/DJ-VI/1987. Twelve years after Baluran National Park zoning has been renewing with new decree of Director General of Protection and Nature Conservation number 187/Kpts/DJ-V/1999 and been changed with Director General of Forest Protection and Nature Conservation decree number SK.228/IV-Set/2012 by 26 December 2012 about Baluran National Zoning. The purpose of this study is to know the physic and the community of Baluran National Park, also for studying the zoning of Baluran National Park based on actual condition approach and the laws without disregarding the need of biodiversity protection that already exist. This study used ecological sensitivity and community social pressure sensitivity. The result of both criteria is used as a base for knowing the level of land ability and land suitability of Baluran National Park. By knowing the level of land ability and land suitability the manager can see if Baluran National park has been treated as it should be based on the zone. There�s different between existing zone map and the study map, the different of the map is shown by different area size, the block shape different and use of the zoning different. The different area size of actual core zone map and study map is 965,1 Ha. The different of wilderness zone is 762,79 Ha, and the different size of other zone is 1.727,45 Ha. The different is caused by the urgency of Balauran National Park management that used for community need, also there�s a different in data analysis and the method of zoning determination.
