- Background : Both kembang bulan leave [Tithonia diversifolia (Hemsley) A. Gray] and turmeric rhizome (Curcuma domestica Val.) have bioactive compound which are an anticancer drug candidate. However, in vitro study about the effect of those to breast cancer has never been carried out. This study also test the toxicity of those extract in liver and kidney. Objectives : To examine active compound in kembang bulan leave extract and turmeric rhizome extract by thin layer chromatography (TLC) method. To determine the effect of standardized ethanol extract [Tithonia diversifolia (Hemsley) A. Gray] and (Curcuma domestica Val.) compound to Sprague Dawley female rats histopathology picture of breast, liver and kidney. Methods : This research used quasi experimental study design with post test with control group design. There were 51 female rats divided into 6 groups
