  • Rapid technological developments done by the children of this nation in modern times, one of which is the adoption of drone technology is commonly called Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). Tricopter is one who possess the type of rotorcraft rotor 3 pieces at the ends of the frame, to move tricopter to do is to set the rotation speed of the motor each. Tricopter controlled by radio control and is equipped with a gyroscope sensor to correct and stabilize the position of the motion tricopter. Tricopter consists of a brushless motor, electronic speed controller, flight controller, ATmega168, gyroscope sensor, propeller, radio control and receiver. In making its software using the assembler language with AVR Studio compiler, and this tricopter using LIPO battery 2200 mAh 3-cell as a voltage source. From the test results that this tricopter has a maximum lifting force of 500 g, radio control distance range up to 60 m and 30 m without any barrier with the barrier. In testing the implementation of this tricopter flew to the air at a height of 4-6 m from ground level, this tricopter can hover motion, roll, pitch and yaw.
