- Face is one of the media for automatic human identification. The objective of the previous researches was to identify human faces from the two-dimensional perspective. Thus, fraud can occur when someone provides print out face image (photo) as an input. The main objective for this research was to distinguish the original and print out face image. Feature extraction was based on facial geometry principles. Face images (both the original and the photos) were captured by camera that was deviated to the left and right. Then each image was divided for each face components (eyes and nose). The coordinates of the center point of each component were then determined. Comparison between the value of the right eye-nose projection vector to the left-right eye vector and the value of the left-right eye vector become the feature of each image. The perceptron method was used as classifier. The result, feature extraction method was able to distinguish the original and print out face image with an error of 8.33% for 24 tested images that had 320x240 pixels resolution. Errors were occurred for some sample that show big round nose shape.
