- The quality control program or activity that is integral to the industrial world, the world of business which includes the production, processing and marketing of products. Limited food quality control in food products, both fresh produce, raw materials, and the materials processed. Quality control is the application of science and technology in handling the managerial quality in the production process, trade, and distribution of commodities. Purpose of holding oversight minimize fraud forgery meat is the availability of meat traders in the city of Yogyakarta, to maintain public confidence in the government that oversees the distribution and trade of meat ASUH in the city of Yogyakarta. Data collection was carried out on 11 to 16 March 2013 in the Department of Industry, Trade and Agricultural Cooperatives. Data obtained through interviews and archival documentation of data fraud Meat in Yogyakarta Province. Of total beef samples taken in the form of processed meatballs and rendang as many as 75 samples, 14 of them positive forged with pork. Forgery with the highest percentage found in the district Gunungkidul number of 57.14%. The efforts made by the city of Yogyakarta Disperindagkoptan to control counterfeiting meat isherkeuring, market monitoring and the monitoring of foodstuffs of animal origin.
