Daftar Isi:
- The aim of the study is to find the influence of combination of biogas residues enriched by azolla and NPK inorganic fertilizer on the N absorption and growth of corn in different soil texture (sand and loam texture). This study was performed in the Greenhouse of Kuningan Soil Laboratory, Soil Major, Department of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. The experiment used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two treatment factors and three replication. The first factor is soil texture types which consist of sandy and loam texture. The second factor is dosage of fertilizer which consist of six levels i.e. TS0 (Control), TS1 (100% Triple-S biogas fertilizer + 0% Phonska NPK fertilizer), TS2 (75% Triple-S biogas fertilizer + 25% Phonska NPK fertilizer), TS3 (50% Triple-S biogas fertilizer + 50% Phonska NPK fertilizer), TS4 (25% Triple-S biogas fertilizer + 75% Phonska NPK fertilizer), and TS5 (0% Triple-S biogas fertilizer + 100% Phonska NPK fertilizer). The results of study showed that combination of biogas fertilizer and NPK fertilizer in sandy texture soil increased the height of the plants 274,67 cm, dry weight of coppices by 114,33 grams (equals to 6,35 ton/ha), weight of cobs without cornhusks by 175,11 grams (equals to 9,73 ton/ha), and weight of all shelled kernels by 129,14 grams (equals to 7,17 ton/ha). While in loam texture soil, the texture increased the height of the plants 235 cm, dry weight of coppices by 96,41 grams (equals to 5,36 ton/ha), weight of cobs without cornhusks by 146,48 grams (equal to 8,14 ton/ha), and weight of all shelled kernels by 101,79 gram (equals to 5,65 ton/ha). Optimum dosage of the combination of biogas residues and NPK fertilizer for the production of hybrid corn in sandy soil was TS5 treatment (Triple-S biogas fertilizer dosage 0 gram/plant + 5,4 grams/plant of Phonska NPK fertilizer) which produced 7,17 ton/ha of corn. While in loam texture soil was TS4 treatment (Triple-S biogas fertilizer dosage 1,35 gram/plant + 62,1 gram/plant of Phonska NPK fertilizer) which produced 5,65 ton/ha of corn.
