- This thesis aims to find scabies disease in dairy cows in UPTD BPBPTDK DIY department of agriculture. Scabies is a disease caused by Sarcoptes scabiei and cause a lot of loss in dairy cows. The method used in the preparation of this paper is to follow the activities of the animal husbandry lengsung. In addition, to support the direct result of the following activities are also carried out a survey of the data that already exists, and an interview with the person in charge of the farm. The results of the data obtained is data on disease scabies, of the interval January 2010 to April 2013. Treatment is done is by providing therapy ivervet injected subcutaneously to cattle recovered. Determination own diagnosis based on clinical symptoms arise. Like, thickening of the skin and fur around the neck collapse cow. Based on the data obtained concluded that the health care management of scabies in cattle affected agriculture department BPBPTDK UPTD DIY is good enough.
